Souko Hoshina
Souko Hoshina (星名 奏子 Hoshina Sōko) is Ikuto Tsukiyomi and Utau Hoshina's mother.
History[]
Souko is the only daughter of the large financial group called the Hoshina family who married Aruto Tsukiyomi (which would eventually make her Souko Tsukiyomi), despite the strong opposition. After Aruto disappeared, she held on to her belief that he would return. In Chapter 43, it is revealed that she never actually married Kazuomi Hoshina, since she never actually divorced her first husband and still believed in Aruto.
In chapter 4 of Shugo Chara! Encore!, she is seen at the wedding of Yuu Nikaidou and Yukari Sanjo, then Aruto appears behind her and embraces her as they look upon the crowd, although he signals to her to keep it a secret.
Etymology[]
- The name Souko means "play music, complete" (奏) (sou) and "child" (子) (ko).
- Souko's surname Hoshina means "star" (星) (hoshi) and "name" (名) (na).
